Nooleus
If you are responsible for a lot of systems, and those systems have been given names that are as cryptic as the ones that I look after, you might find my latest project useful.
Nooleus is a graphical tool that allows you to quickly create diagrams of your infrastructure (servers, databases, switches, etc), and then use those diagrams to launch external tools such as sqlplus, tnsping, putty, vnc, exceed, URLs...anything you like really.
I've designed it to be as flexible and easy to use as possible. It has a library of over 60 predefined objects including servers, databases, listeners, etc.
All of the objects, and even the pages themselves, have inertia. This enables them to be grabbed and thrown to aid quick navigation (you'll have to try it to see what I mean). You can also zoom in and out of the pages allowing large diagrams containing hundreds of objects to be created.

nooleus_setup.exe
(1.16MB)
I've also created a dedicated website for Nooleus here. Any feedback on the program or the site will be gladly received. Please don't be too harsh though - I've spent almost six months working on it ;-)
Cheers,
Andy
